60-5 Club – This group was started by Fr. Fred Julien, M.S. many years ago as he felt a need for the seniors of St. Patrick Church to have a place to mingle with good fellowship.  He opened up his home to them for a meal the first Sunday of each month.  Fr. Julien provided the meat for the meal and the seniors brought potluck dishes to share.  The seniors were happy and enjoyed the fellowship.  Somewhere along the way, the date and meeting place was changed.  We now meet the last Tuesday of the month in the Faith Formation building at noon.  Everyone brings a potluck dish to share.  Anyone over the age of 55, man or woman, are invited to join us for the food and fellowship.  We play bingo after the meal.  Contact person is Jeraldine Molandes (936) 632-3661

Our Lady for LaSalette Ladies Guild – A women’s group that is open to all ladies of the parish, young and old. Started in the early 50’s this organization helps the church in spiritual, liturgical, social and charitable matters.  Their major fundraisers are bake sales, raffles and bazaars. The Ladies Guild assist in maintenance of the altar, helping the Pastor, brings Christian atmosphere in the parish, welcomes newcomers, shows concern for the sick, consoles the grieving at time of death of loved one, Christian service such as helping evacuees from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.  The Ladies Guild meets the first first Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the Church office. 

Stained Glass Bilingual Choir – The bilingual choir, often knows as “Stained Glass” meets at 4 pm for a rehearsal before leading the congregation in song for the 5 pm Sunday bilingual liturgy. The choir, which has it’s roots in the parish children’s choir of the 1990s began singing music at mass during Advent of 2001.  The group also sings at weddings and Quinceneras liturgies.  All are welcome to join at anytime.  If you have any questions please contact Carl or Cathy Wallace at (936) 707-9211 or 936-414-6837.

1Voice Choir – This diverse choir, singing both traditional and contemporary, sings at the 5:30 pm Saturday liturgy and is open to all parishioners.  1Voice also sings at other Catholic churches, churches of different faiths, community and civic events.  1Voice has produced a CD “One Purpose, One Song, One God, One Voice” and is presently working on a Christmas CD.  All sales of CDs go towards the Music Ministry fund to purchase new music, instruments or equipment.  1Voice practices every Tuesday night at 6:30 pm in the home of a choir member as well as meet at church at 4:00 pm on Saturdays to practice before the mass.  Contact persons are Jan Kupec at (936) 875-2698 or Jimmy Schroeder at (936) 824-3557 or email Romans 15:6 – “Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Tuesday Morning Group – The Tuesday Morning Group meets at the Tuesday morning mass and prays the Rosary and the Legion of Mary Novena after the Mass.  Everyone is welcome to join us whenever they can.

St. Patrick’s Festival – Yearly parish wide celebration celebrated in March.  This festival begins with a celebration of the liturgy and continues with a variety of ethnic foods, games for young and old, and entertainment. Encompasses all parish ministries and organizations.

Eucharistic Adoration – First Friday of the month.  Adoration between masses on Friday and in the morning until Saturday until 9:00 am mass.  Eucharistic Adoration leader .

Come, Lord Jesus! – The Come, Lord Jesus! program presents the Word of God and the teachings of the faith in a content of prayerful reflection within a community of Christian love.  You will also experience the beauty and strength of Christian love in a community of believers, as did the early Christians. Come, Lord Jesus! makes you ask questions and search for answers. It provides a forum with which to share your faith. Through sharing your understanding and experiences with your friends in Christ, you will acquire the self-confidence to defer and explain your faith to others when those teachable moments for witness occur.  St. Patrick’s Come, Lord Jesus! meets on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.
